Visit Baird Brothers at a 2016 Home Show for inspiration

Winter is a great time to start looking at ways to spruce up and add value to your home with beautiful hardwood. Whether you’re starting a renovation or planning a spring or summer build, there’s no better place to start than home shows.

Each spring, Steve Stack and his team of Baird Brothers hardwood experts look forward to the home shows. “Home shows are a great place to start building a wish list and getting your budget in order,” Steve said, adding that Baird Brothers experts will be on hand to answer questions and help with design ideas. “We even invite customers to drop off or email blueprints for a no-cost estimate.”

At the Baird Brothers booth, visitors can touch and see the gorgeous quality of handcrafted hardwood, as well as get a look at how different finishes and stains look on various species. “We’re excited to show off our new antique oak collection,” Steve said. “It’s warm, earthy, a little distressed, and has an aged coloration that shows a richness, like a vintage wine.” Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the new, engineered-hardwood flooring and learn about its applications.

Take-aways are a staple of home shows and Steve is confidant that Inspirations, the 2016 Baird Brothers design guide will be a keeper. “It’s a gorgeous book loaded with ideas. It’s especially helpful because it’s divided into architectural styles — Craftsman/Shaker to Provincial/Victorian — so customers can see which hardwood products complement their home’s architectural design and their personal style.” Visitors can also pick up a copy of the Baird Brothers 2016 catalog.
