Advantages of Engineered Flooring:
- Can be installed on all levels of (above, at, and below grade).
- Approved for installation over radiant floor heat.
- Can be installed directly over concrete which has been poured over a proper moisture barrier.
- Premium 9-ply Baltic Birch core provide the most stable core, which means that Baird Brothers engineered hardwood flooring is less likely to be affected by changes in humidity than solid hardwood.
- Can be sanded and refinished like a solid hardwood floor.
- Recommended installation methods include glue down (we recommend Bostik's Best adhesive and to follow their installation guidelines) or stapled (every 3"-4") with a 1" to 1-1/2" long narrow crown staple.
